Three legacy projects have defined the work done at the Centre for Sport Policy Studies since its inception in 1999. Read details below.
GTActivity
A project that recognizes, records and celebrates the physical cultural diversity that exists in the Greater Toronto Area.
1967 Centennial
A project that examined the diversity of physical activity events and facilities that emerged from Canada's 1967 Centennial celebrations.
Gender Equality
A series of reports that measured and analyzed gender equality in sports events, including the Olympic Games, as well as within Canadian university sport.
PAR Project
A research project that uses participatory action research (PAR) methodologies to better understand the effect of sport program participation on youth living ‘on the margins’ of urban Toronto.
